Alwar was once considered a sleepy hamlet and used to be neglected by property developers. But, time have changed and the situation is not the same anymore because the place is undoubtedly making a mark in NCR. The town is not only witnessing frenetic residential and commercial activity, but is also turning into a promising real estate destination at a swift pace. In fact, the place is shining brightly on the NCR map. It has turned out to be a major industrial hub of the country. From population of 72,700 in 1961, it has now reached to more than 3.81 lakh. The Urban Development and Housing (UDH) Department has anticipated that it will further increase to seven lakh by 2031.
